The Joy of Hospitality – Julie Kauflin and Casey Hester
Class Description: From Abraham preparing a meal for the three strangers in Genesis 18 to Lydia prevailing upon the disciples to stay at her house in Acts 16, Scripture makes it clear that God’s people are to be marked by generous hospitality. But when it comes down to actually practicing hospitality, we often need the encouragement of 1 Peter 4:9: “Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.” Unrealistic expectations, harshness, exhaustion, finances, awkwardness, and a perceived lack of gifting can tempt us to discouragement. In this class you’ll be freshly equipped and inspired by two women who excel in hospitality to embrace God’s calling with joy, peace, and anticipation.

The Hidden Art of Homemaking – Nicole Whitacre and Hannah Fabish
Class Description: More than an obstacle course of legos and dolls or a way station between sports practices and carpools, the home is where life begins. Indeed, in the biblical vision of womanhood, the home receives a particular focus for our hearts and labors (Titus 2:5). Homemaking is a set of artistic skills and joyful rituals that create a place where Christ is honored and your family flourishes. In this class we will ponder the gospel power of the domestic arts and talk tips for creating an organized, lovely, and happy home.

Gospel Faithfulness in the Secular Workplace – Emily Donovan and Stephanie Cook
Class Description: Work in a fallen world is hard. We face challenges in applying the gospel to our jobs--everything from coworker conflict, worldly workplaces, difficult projects, idolizing work, or being idle in our work. But by God's grace, work can become a means to glorify Him, provide for our needs, be generous to others, help us grow in sanctification, and a mission field that God has prepared for us to sow Gospel seeds in. In this class, Stephanie and Emily will share some of the lessons God has taught them (and is teaching them!) through work.

How Firm a Foundation: Grace in God’s Sovereignty – Julie Kauflin and McKenzie Fuller
Class Description: It’s not hard to trust God when everything in life is going well. But what happens when you receive news you never anticipated getting? How do you respond when you get a medical diagnosis that turns your world upside down? We know that Jesus is still our Savior and God remains on the throne. But it’s only when we run to him that we experience his comfort and care. In this class, Julie Kauflin, along with her daughter McKenzie, will share how two bouts with breast cancer led her into a deeper, stronger, more faith-filled relationship with the God who redeemed her.

Prayer: A Priceless Invitation from God – Betsy Ricucci and Debbie Ziegler
Class Description: Betsy Ricucci and Debbie Ziegler Class Description: Just mention the topic of prayer and we hang our heads, and our immediate response is often guilt rather than anticipation, right? So aware are we of our lack. Let’s give that pesky guilt the old “heave ho” and find that prayer is an invitation to receive from God, not just another item to check off our insurmountable “to do” list. We will find, through prayer, our hearts warmed, our sight cleared, our faith strengthened, those we love, served, and those we serve, loved. As Mr. Spurgeon encourages: “Prayer girds human weakness with divine strength, turns human folly into heavenly wisdom, and gives to troubled mortals the peace of God. We know not what prayer cannot do!” Let’s RSVP “yes!” to the God who invites!
