Praying Together | 3.31

Four Prayers for Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication:

  1. Praise our sovereign God and King who is worthy of our worship and honor (Job 1:20-21).
  1. Confess our frailty and sin, and recognize our need for Christ our mediator to bridge the gap to our God (1 Timothy 2:5).
  1. In keeping with CJ’s sermon on Habakkuk, thank God that our greatest joy is found in relationship with him, no matter the severity of loss we experience (Habakkuk 3:17-19).
  1. Pray that our church would daily be asking God to calm us in this current storm, provide for each church member's needs, grant opportunities to serve our neighbors and for God to have mercy our world, both from COVID-19 and in the greater need for forgiveness (Philippians 4:19).

More Prayers for God’s provision:

Pray for those who are sick or fighting disease in our church; pray for Kim Dye’s recovery from surgery today, that he would heal her cancer.

Pray that churches in the world would be strengthened through this pandemic and that many would be introduced to Christ (Acts 16:5).

Pray that God would protect our church from the lies of the enemy and the temptations of this world while we are spending much of our time at home (1 Peter 5:8).

Pray for all the students in our church to have patience and discipline for honoring God through online classes.

Pray that God would watch over and protect our SG church in New Orleans, sparing their members susceptible to this virus and healing those who have become ill.

Pray that God would give us desire to use the extra time many of us have at home to grow in knowledge and understanding of Christ better (Ephesians 1:17).

Ask God for opportunities for us to serve the lost and be hospitable to those who need help during this time.
