Bible Reading Plans for 2022

Bible reading 2022 featured

CJ has recommended D.A. Carson’s “For the Love of God”, which comes in two volumes. Carson follows Robert Murray-M’Cheyne’s one-year reading schedule, taking you through the entire Bible, while reading the New Testament and Psalms twice. This plan includes Carson’s brief commentary on the daily readings, and those resources can be found on PDF for free below. If you like a variety of Bible readings throughout the year, this is a good plan.

If you want a more personalized approach, Ligonier recommends a generator that is able to customize your reading schedule to better fit your needs. This is a good option if you have a busy schedule and want to build in “off days” to catch up. You can plan to read as much or as little as you’re able to.

Here is a two year Bible reading plan. This plan is based off of Gordon Fee and Douglas Stuart’s book “How to Read the Bible Book by Book.” This plan is helpful if you would rather read through Scripture book by book, rather than reading a daily assortment.
